I want to be a tutor because I would like to begin to build experience in my field prior to my student teaching and graduation. Since I am a math major, I have taken classes in pre-calculus, calculus (I, II, III), geometry, linear algebra, and number theory. I am also currently enrolled in a modern algebra class. The only branch of mathematics that I have never taken a class in is statistics. I have gotten an A in all of my math classes except for one, I got a B- and another I got a B. Being that I am an education major as well, I have taken classes in which I was given the opportunity to prepare to teach and teach a few small lessons.
